I follow a website called A Chelsea Morning. I love the ideas that Barb, the blogger, comes up with. I've decided to try my own version of her "Good Things Book" (check it out here). Barb takes clippings out of magazines and pastes them into a cute, cheap little photo album to go back to later.
I have only been getting my Good Housekeeping magazines for a little over a year, but I've already started to realize that keeping them all just in case I ever want to look back for one or two good ideas isn't going to work. There's no way I'm ever going to look back into a whole stack of magazines to find one recipe, so I've started clipping out the recipes and ideas I like and making my own "Good Things Book". It's not as pretty as Barb's- it's just cut outs from the magazine glued to notepaper in a little blue notebook- but I think I will be glad to have it. Even though I know I can google any cleaning solution or recipe and get lots of ideas, I like the idea of having my own answer saved away in my little book!
